The word Quarantine comes from Venice during the great plague when 40 nights and 40 days (Quaranta) was considered the time one should remain isolated to be free from infection and from infecting others.
I uploaded these pieces on May 1st - International Workers Day and they are dedicated to four comrade photographers who worked in Spain during the Civil War. Three of these pieces were recorded for the on- line Amplify Festival organised by John Abbey and Erstwhile Records.
