This is a re-mix/collage of the guitar parts from my Blue Guitar album originally released on vinyl by Idea Records. Gary Peters removed my vocals then sampled and looped parts of my guitar and played across the top to create another version.
My original recording had an equally bizarre start in that I recorded the guitar parts with a Zoom H2 recorder and then, without listening to the guitar parts recorded my vocals, also on the H2, and collaged them together. Here Gary reverses the procedure and then proceeds to create the versions heard here, playing pedal steel guitar, mandolin, banjo and synths.
